Just out of curiosity... since when was it Kinko's policy to give out customer information to any one, to say the least over the phone?

Good job Barnaby Jones!

Well, Rather must have recognized a fellow nutjob in Burkett and decided he was in good company. 'Where's the Kinko's, Kenneth?' Oh, to be a fly on the wall at CBS and/or Kerry headquarters.

What time does Kinkos close in Abilene? Has KCM1 done a hit and run?

I would imagine Burkett, if he did the job, plugged in his own flash-memory and nothing at all hit that hard-drive. Earlier today somebody here noticed that some of the abbreviations in the documents followed the Army stylebook, but not the Air Force stylebook. Burkett is an Army guy.

I'm still guessing he was bright enough to use outside (non-Texas) talent through other Democrats ~ e.g. the people in Nashville who've been mouthing off about this for several years.

Anyway, Dan Rather was born in Wharton, TX. It's a Houston suburb (almost, but I've been there and there's plenty of scrub between it and a real town).

No doubt Rather has more than a passing relationship with Mr. Barnes.

These people are all a bunch of homeboys, and still they ended up screwing each other.

Then the problem becomes, if he's responsible, Drudge or one of the blogs has to get him on the record first, or CBS will try to construct him as a cut out and blur any connection to Kerry & DNC.

The problem is, Burkett's had two mental breakdowns and, in the only inteview I've heard, he comes across as completely nuts.

He types well.

I think Hannity or one of the local radio guys ought to call Barnes' daughter to see if she has any knowledge of a link with Burkett!

Exactly.

Best guess is that Burkett is connected to the Kerry campaign, and that the DNC major principles were made aware fo what was occuring. CBS is protecting Kerry/DNC. It's a matter of proving it that will be the difficulty.

Certain organizations may be willing to take down CBS. They may be willing to take down Burkett. Taking down the DNC is another matter.

So I guess there's another pdf somewhere with the Kinkos fax number on it?

Not necessarily. But there is a fax somewhere with that. IF the fax landed on a computer, then perhaps it is saved that way. If it printed directly, who knows what was scanned in, masked off, etc. The PDFs at USA Today (6 sheets) have no fax headers on them.

There had to be some other involvement by somebody higher up the Dem food chain for them to risk this kind of embarrassment.

"WHY...WHY would CBS cover-up and stone wall to protect Burkett?"

Maybe the fax from Abeline went to someone Rather wants to protect, AND then to CBS?

Legitimate question. Maybe she is a Republican.
