You mean, Baird, TX has NO fax machines..

Most drug store's have them to fax in prescription requests. Banks, some big grocery stores...

So, Secret Agent man, drove 20 miles to cover his tracks?? How odd...

Not odd at all since Kinkos is basically the hi-tech equivalent of a public pay phone. My bet is this was a cash transaction just to fax (to CBS, DNC, USAT, et alia) the bogus documents. Hard to fully trace but Burkett, Barnes, Mapes & Rather's spawn were all near this key nexus.

In Texas, 20 miles is around the corner. I dare say most folks in Baird go into "town" (Abilene) at least once a week. Sure there are FAX machines in Baird, these docs might have been prepared on a Kinko's computer to keep Burkett's hard drive clean. Same reason you'd want to use an "untraceable" fax.
