What concerns me is that by this time tomorrow, the MSM, in a last ditch effort to accomodate the DNC diversion from Kerry's record to Bushes' record, will have taken only the quotes from Knox that makes CBS's "re-created" documentation look "somewhat" legit.

I don't care if she's a grandma, her story needs to be methodically taken apart and throughly scrutinized.

The "old media" will not go any further. They have their martyr who bled enough so that they can do the same thing with impunity. The sheep now believes that ends justify means and truth is divorced from facts or reality so they will accept anything. Bork is right in his book "Slouching to Gomorrah" and Senator Moynihan's "Defining deviance down", we are slowly devaluing truth and reality so that nothing will be true and all will be believed. Ok lets look at just what she and Good old DNC Dan had to say. she told us that she didn’t right the memos and that they were not in the jargon of the air national garde. but you see Dan just let that one go with out further question. she also stated that colonel killien started a cover your as file ???? ok where is it ???? second she stated that all the other pilots where upset that LT.Bush was getting special treatment right ??? ok so why haven't we heard from some of them I am sure abc has tried to find 1 or 2 of them. 3 that it was a regulation to take the pilot physical on your birth day but this questionable memo has bush ordered to take it months prier to his birthday I am left to ask why ? it look's to me that this is just DNC Dan and ABC Trying to duck and cover (old military jargon lol). this is my first posting I hope I did it right...

I think the problem for CBS is that other MSM outlets (e.g. ABC, NBC, FOX, Washington Post, LA Times, etc.) have invested a lot of capital in discrediting CBS's original story. They're not very likely to now backdown from their positions on the basis of the incoherent and contradictory ramblings of an 86 year old, obviously partisan grandma. Dan Rather and CBS News are toast.

I hope you are correct. The next few days will be crucial to the MSM--who keeps whining to the public that they're not "biased." Can't say the same for the NYT's, Boston Globe, AP, and DNCBS who have been caught BIG TIME LYING, or using fraudulent and/or ultra-biased sources exclusively to shore up Kerry and denigrate Bush.

You know, I was--and still am to some degree--worried about the AP Booing LIE, Boston Globe garbage and this Rather fraud having an effect on the so-called "independent voting block." I don't think it's working for the Dems and their obvious MSM supporters, thanks to us pajama people and a few intelligent media outlets who realize that outrageous bias and outright LIES ain't gonna sit well with at least half of their viewers. Time will tell...
