In other words, she was accusing him of getting chummy with the Manhattan liberal elites who dine at fancy French restaurants like Lutece, and forgetting about his middle-class Long Island roots. Beautiful!

Bill's own investigations seem to be a day (ar two or three) late and a three dollar bill short. He doesn't know what to think until the polls are in so he can get in front of crowd that is already marching in a given direction. Definately NOT a leader.
