Nobody should get fired for having a political bumper sticker on their car.

Seems she was a "packer". She'll fit right in with the pack of lies that the sKerry campaign gives out. Maybe she could become their spokesperson.
Has anybody inquired with the employer to confirm that she was fired for being a Kerry supporter? I find it hard to believe that somebody would be foolish enough to fire an employee for this. They'd be inviting a lawsuit. If this is the case, then on November 3rd, John Ewards will be available to represent her.

Hey, She could be TEE-RA-ZA's double. There is a lot of similarity there.

I didn't believe the story when I first read it, and I still don't believe it.

I don't believe an employer would say ". . .decide between working for Kerry or for me." No, it doesn't pass the smell test.

Another fabricated "news" story, to promote the liberal agenda. Portrays Kerry supporters as being victims of oppression by the conservative right.

Gobbell said her former employer had told her she could either work for him or Kerry. She said Kerry told her, "Let him know that as of today, you're working for John Kerry." "He was proud of me for standing up for what I believe in," the newly employed, 41-year-old said of her quick phone call with the candidate.

How did she get fired. From the above statement kerry told her to tell her employer that she would work for him (kerry). I may be wrong but did her previous employer actually fire her or is this another "kerry story"

Good for her. Her employer was a jerk.

I don't believe for a minute that that is why she was fired. I'd be willing to bet she wasn't doing her job and/or creating problems and this is just some BS excuse. Her former employer can't really be specific with the media as to why she was fired or he could be sued. Why are so many on this post so eager to believe this woman when she is a lock-step member of the proven liar party?

I have a feeling there was more than a bumper sticker involved here.

She's a former cellulose packer?

Kerry called her because he needs someone to pack his botox! ;-)

Gobbell said Kerry didn't offer too many details about her new position.

Kerry & Co. always need document authenticators.

she'll probably join the secretarial pool where she will be feverishly typing memos on behalf of dead colonels for the afternoon Kinko's run

I think it was foolish to fire her only for her Kerry bumper sticker. She looks like will be invaluable to the Kerry campaign--better than a Dirt Devil in disposing of the leftover pizzas from their strategy meetings!

That bumper of hers sure has room for a lot of stickers.

The car too, I suppose.
