[history]
Just announced on the Chris Baker talk show:
Ken Charles, the Station Manager for 950KPRC in Houston (the largest talk station in Houston) just sent the CBS News VP all his nasty e-mails and told them that CBS will either fire Dan Rather by Monday and come completely clean on the matter or he will take CBS News off the air of his radio stations (he manages two of the largest in Houston).
He took Dan Rather's 4pm top of the hour brodcast off effective immediately and replaced it with Fox news.
He said he will find a way to cancel the CBS contract if they do not resolve this in a manner that retains their credibility as a news source.

This should have happened when CNN did their "Operation Tailwind" and NBC did their exploding Chevy truck fiction. For that matter, this should have happened when Dan Rather did his little field report from Vietnam, right after his crew had set fire to the Huey wreck behind him.

On the same menu, near the top, is a link to listen to KPRC live over the net. If anyone is going to listen to KPRC over the net, check out Pat Gray in the mornings. His show is fantastic. As for Rather being canned, it's about time! Hearing his voice at the top of the hour made me gag.

Now I'd like to see Dan Patrick dump O'Reilly from KSEV.I never watch O'Reilly's tv show anymore but caught him on KSEV the other day. What a pompous ass he has become!

...hope they're friendly ones, anyway. For the most part. Keeps me hoppin' but off the computinmachine during some very interesting times. By the time I get to some of the threads I'm pinged to, they've pretty much run their course. Better late than never, eh?
