On Drudge:
Statement by the President of CBS News, Andrew Heyward:
"We established to our satisfaction that the memos were accurate or we would not have put them on television. There was a great deal of coroborating [sic] evidence from people in a position to know. Having said that, given all the questions about them, we believe we should redouble our efforts to answer those questions, so that's what we are doing."
Peach,
I'm not sure how this recent statement 'clarifies' anything. We were promised a statement from CBS that would clarify things.
Yikes, it's bad news over there.
Holey cow! That is the professional statement we have been waiting for all day? I am imagining a guy with a mouthful of marbles... Now they are perpetrating another fraud. They want us to believe they are educated people.... LOL! NO WAY!
Translation:
Sorry. We need more time to come up with better lies to cover up our not so good lies.

To quote Peggy Lee: Is That All There Is?
Since See BS is going to "redouble our efforts", how exactly do you think that is going to happen? This is a smokescreen for allowing their legal beagles to come up with a good defense for airing forged documents. They just admitted that they will concede after they "recheck" their unimpeachable sources. I don't think they should be let off the hook until they expose that "unimpeachable source"..
