Since See BS is going to "redouble our efforts", how exactly do you think that is going to happen? This is a smokescreen for allowing their legal beagles to come up with a good defense for airing forged documents. They just admitted that they will concede after they "recheck" their unimpeachable sources. I don't think they should be let off the hook until they expose that "unimpeachable source"..

How long does it take for somebody to notice whether a document is in proportional (rather than monospace like a standard typewriter) font? Once that oddity raises an eyebrow, how long does it take to notice the superscripts?

Just announced on the Chris Baker talk show:
Ken Charles, the Station Manager for 950KPRC in Houston (the largest talk station in Houston) just sent the CBS News VP all his nasty e-mails and told them that CBS will either fire Dan Rather by Monday and come completely clean on the matter or he will take CBS News off the air of his radio stations (he manages two of the largest in Houston).
He took Dan Rather's 4pm top of the hour brodcast off effective immediately and replaced it with Fox news.
He said he will find a way to cancel the CBS contract if they do not resolve this in a manner that retains their credibility as a news source.

Meanwhile , NBC's Fred Francis did a report much like ABC's Brian Ross last night. NBC found one of the experts ABC talked to and she repeated that she could not authenticate the docs and expresed her concerns to CBS producers, who IGNORED her and went on to find OTHER "EXPERTS" who would AGREE with them.

He's been sounding A LOT like bill ever since Friday.... of course, Rather would view the comparison as a compliment. Bill has been flattered by Dan's imitation ... and giving phone call tips to Dan from his hospital room...
