I can't believe CBS were going to release a statement yesterday, then nothing, now today it's 1-1/2 hours later than their supposed announcement and still nothing.

Sen. Robert Bennett (R-UT) is saying the docs came from 'stupidity.'
Someone wanted to 'provide proof' of allegations, so they stupidly made up the documents.

"Those Rhinos better get up and practice some good old Democratic "moral indignation"."
Right, the club of McCain, Spector, Hagel, Hatch, Snow, Collins, I won't hold my breath waiting for these play actors.

Courage. I guarantee you Rather and others are fighting to make the statement attack President Bush and the "partisans" more strongly.

Les Moonves better kill off the news division if he wants to save his a$$.
Viacom should be broken up if they used their massive market share to spread this garbage. Who is publishing Kitty Kelley's book?

Who is publishing Kitty Kelley's book? Can't blame Viacom for that piece of trash - it is published by Doubleday, a division of Random House.

I love Bob Bennett. I think he's the clearest and perhaps most eloquent member of the Senate, though he rarely flaunts himself in the public eye.
Didn't like that he said Rather was honorable, however.

Pretty sad some grade school quality forgery is taking time in the US Senate.
Think they would be intereted in discussing the memo I found about Ted Kennedy having relations with small farm animals?
