Take a second to read through the astonishing postings (link below) on Borders unions website. As you will see... the attached postings are primarily from really annoyed liberals, and a couple of them refer to ongoing tactics to keep UNFIT FROM COMMAND away from the public.
Here's one example:
"We're 'finding' that most of the few copies we're getting are damaged and need to be sent back, so sad. Too bad, Bushies! Regnery needs to be more careful. I'm hearing from people at 2 other stores that this seems to be common.
Why should we help destroy what's left of our country?"
or how 'bout this one...
"You can probably get Regnery's corporate number from Books in Print or off the web. I'd keep it handy and then whenever a customer asks for this book, tell them that Regnery isn't keeping this book stocked and it may be because Regnery is a pinko-commie-fag publisher who's trying to bury this story by not printing enough copies of this book. Tell them you even read on the web that Hillary Clinton is on Regnery's Board of Directors.
And, after all, you did just read on the web that she's on the Board and that it's pinko-commie-fag publisher so you wouldn't be lying. Well, maybe you shouldh't use "pinko-commie-fag." How about pacifist lesbian outfit? Not that there's anything wrong with that."

"You guys don't actually HAVE to sell the thing!
"Just 'carelessly' hide the boxes, 'accidentally' drop them off pallets, 'forget' to stock the ones you have, and then suggest a nice Al Franken or Micheal Moore book as a substitute. Borders wants those recommends, remember?

Anything you can do to make them feel unwelcome is only fair. They are the people pushing retailers to cut costs, don't forget. Hannity and O'Reilly fly off the shelves. We still have about half of our original allocation of Slick Willie (and a good 1/3 of our customers bought it to find evidence of additional crimes).
It won't hurt them to hear it twice!
The books belong to Regnery, who is providing them to Borders in good faith. If Borders is still like they were a decade ago when my publishing company dealt with them, they require the publisher to pay shipping (or, in lieu of that, extra discounts) to them and only pay for copies as they are sold. By preventing the books from being sold, Borders employees are denying payment to Regnery for goods purchased. By deliberately damaging books and returning them to Regnery, they are causing Regnery to pay shipping both ways, the cost of printing the book, and the loss of restocking (damaged goods, can't be resold elsewhere).
This is criminal activity, pure and simple.
Don't forget the Dem efforts to keep Ralph Nader off the ballot.
As explained to me, it's a part of their management philosophy in order to attract their targeted audience.
By the way, I've finished my copy of "Unfit for Command." FReepmail me if you haven't been able to get a copy and want to borrow it.
Big surprise yesterday at Costco! They actually had four stacks of "Unfit" on the end position in our store. That's the first for that leftist outfit. They always promote the anti-Bush books and have a lot of them for sale.

I've been wondering what all the fuss is about concerning Unfit For Command..So, I actually read it and found it to be factual and forthright..I know many of you will think I am a traitor for saying this, but I was taught to always look at all sides and to be fair and balanced in my judgments..There is much truth in the book and I suggest you read it."
Yesterday at my local costco...
End cap was 90% Bill Clinton's book with 2 rows of Unfit.
Turning the corner was a large stack of Kitty Kelley's book. So there were 2 rows of Unfit sandwiched between about 10 rows each of Liberal stuff. At least it was on the end cap...
If anyone cant find a copy of Unfit and wants one... Freepmail me and I can send you one. Price was just less than 16.00 (15.97?)

Last time I shopped at Borders I bought 4-5 conservative,pro-Bush books - After much searching. I had my six-year-old daughters with me and I had them carry the books and put them up on the counter. I just happened to be wearing my Jerry Garcia shirt that day. I was grinning ear-to-ear with the shocked expressions from the folks working the check-out line. Oh, by the way, "Dude, where's my country" was prominently displayed just inside the front door. I get my books online at Amazon.com now. F**K Borders!!!
