Any mention of Kerry's group planning on assassinating sitting UNITED STATES senators? The group itself did not "plan," it debated. And the idea was voted down. There is a small difference.

I think this "interview" this morning shows that Kerry has no new thoughts or ideas. He only set himself up for impeachment on some of his comments.

Yeah, I'm addicted too, but I keep the mute button close.

Imus doesnt have to slam himThe point is that Kerry knew Imus wouldn't and that was why Kerry chose to appear. This says more about Kerry than it does about Imus.
To: Mo1
Don't know......I have an automatic brain switch that clicks "Off" when Kerry speaks. It's no wonder that Terayzah is "Off" w/having to listen to him around the house...er, mansion.

Imus shouldn't have let him drone on and on and on and on...His own handlers can't stop Kerry from doing that.

Kerry's campaign is reminding me of the end of the movie, Rope. After the Jimmy Stewart professor character discovers the crime, the two guys just sit in their apartment waiting for the arrival of the police. One of the characters after a long silence says something like, "They'll be here soon," and then goes back to just sitting there waiting. It was a great scene. Anyway, Kerry reminds me of that. He is just sitting there waiting for the INEVITABLE Election Day result.

Did I just hear Kerry give two positions on the war in the same sentence? At least two are implied but I'd have to read a transcript to see.

Imus' best question is, "How's that workin' out for ya?"
To: leadpenny
So when he had shared with Craig Crawford his opinion that Kerry/Edwards needed to take the gloves off ... was he leading Crawford like a seasoned lawyer too?
To: VRWC_minion
Kerry contridicted himself... he demands the President tell him his plan for Iraq but he won't tell what his CABINET will be? Heck, at this point in 2000 we knew Powell would be part of of the Administration

Terrible interview.Any interview with him is bound to be terrible. He's the clinical definition of a narcissist and any puncturing of his persona is guaranteed to cause a blowup. The campaign reporters are probably relieved thay're not allowed to talk with him anymore.

Talking is not enough. Imus had an opportunity to challenge him on his obvious misstatements and omissions. There is a reason he goes on these shows--he gets to make his points to a freindly interviewer. We see what a liar Kerry is, but the general public doesn't get the same impression.

The only "180" Kerry hasn't done is an SF180

Kerry is still in hiding choosing safe venues to emerge out of his spider holeDo you think his performance there will encourage him to move out?
Or do you think he sees his own shadow and crawls back into the hole? Is it winter for JFK?
It seems to me his performance was mixed. He messed up on a few of the questions, and he must be cognizant of the questions Imus could have asked but didn't.
On the other hand, no NEW gaffes, just the same old ones.

Imus voted for Clinton in at least 92. He later realized he was a phoney. I think Imus has Kerry pegged now.
To: angkor
Imus is ripping him now....funny. Says he didn't have any idea what the hell he said....

Imus is no doing his analysis.
He's my candidate and I have no idea what he is saying. He tried to trick him about abu graib.
He has to get fired up etc.
