If she forged them they would have been in proper military format.
I thought it was convienent of the LA Times to leave Knox's partisanship all the way down at the bottom of the article. Although I must admit to being shoked that they even mentioned it.
Burkett, probably acting on behalf of 'rat operatives, was probably very cagey when "chatting her up" about the old days in the TANG. He needed to pull some office rumors out of her, without unduly arousing her suspicions, lest she be questioned later.
I think the secretary was a main source (unwittingly) for the memo factoids. She just was off a bit on details, like Stodges retirement date.
This is so going to be CBS's new spin...only they'll probably say only that the secretary confirms and corroborates the details of the memos without admitting they're fakes...hey they've stonewalled this far...a little selective reporting ain't all that much further over the ledge. She gave them a trig to stand on, one that collapses under her blatant partisanship and admittance that the memos are fake but I doubt CBS cares...
But who knows with her?
Whats next, Lt Col Killians secret home 8mm movies?
This whole story stinks to high heaven.
"He did have complaints about Bush. Bush missed the physical and went off to Alabama with none of the paper work, I remember Killion talking about that," Knox said. "BUT IT WASN'T IN MEMO FILE." ABCNEWS.COM
And in this article she is saying she did type out memos very similar to the ones she believes are forged. This is ridiculous.
She's lying. or just repeating the the fake news.
She claims to remember "higher ups trying sugar coat" things.
She never read the news I guess, the "higher up" retired 18 months before.
Killains son also says she's full of it 'bless her heart" LoL
"Carr said he had heard his mother describe for other reporters how some of the terminology in the memos, including the use of "billets" and a reference to the "administrative officer" were not in common usage in the 147th Fighter Interceptor Group, for which she worked. She said those terms sounded more like the ones used by the Army National Guard, her son said."
ARMY National Guard! I have no idea who that could be..............
And what's more Bush didn't:
fake 3 purple hearts, a bronze and silver star (with a fake v) and desert his unit in the middle of a war.
cllaborate with the enemy.
Lie under oath to a congressional hearing
accuse his fellow soldiers of being war crimminals
lie and say he was on a secret mission to Cambodia
and so on
Worthless babling.
Well, where on EARTH did that come from?
Is this the equivalent of "sexing it up?"
I'm NOT saying she forged them, only that she may have been an unwitting source for TANG anti-Bush talking points. I'd like to know who called her in the last year or two about Bush and the TANG. Phone records from the secretary to Burkett, 'rat activists etc could be a smoking gun.
"Ex-Guard Typist Recalls Memos Criticizing Bush"
Is that rich, or what? That is not the main thrust of this story!!!! That's not the angle they would take if the shoe were on the other foot!!!
UGH!!!!
