We need to make sure that everyone in Wisconsin knows about this slip up. Email everyone of interest. I emailed the Bush campaign to make jokes about this.

I think they know. I believe Kerry has dropped about 10 points (per Gallup) since then.

He said Lambeau before he said Lambert. And when he was in vietnam... he was in vietnam you know.... he got a silver star for saving a guy who had once been to lambert field you know.

At a campaign event last month, the Democratic presidential nominee called it Lambert Field -- a slip of the tongue carried on television, in papers throughout the state and on ESPN's Web site. Gee .. only took the WP a month to report this story .. WOW!

To: kjam22
No, no.
He saved a guy named Rambeau Field from the evil clutches of a despicable future republican named Lambought Field.
(That was when he was serving heroically in Vietnam.)

The Kerry campaign is a very sad thing.
With my all consuming desire to see islam outed for what it is, I usually spend my freep time hitting the islamothreads.
Lately, it's been really entertaining watching the Kerry camp implode, explode, outplode, and just completely come apart.
Series entertainment.
I mean, really, how many politicians are there who are stupid enough to get the cheeseheads PO'ed? Or whose wife just called half the country complete idiots?
What a trip.

He also told folks in Michigan that he supports the Buckeyes.
Dumb.

It's amazing how little things like this can impact an election. In 1976 Gerald Ford tried to eat a tamale in Texas with the corn husk wrapper still on. In Texas this was a major screw up. The mistake got carried all over the state media and Ford lost to Carter 48% to 51%.
If Ford had won Texas he would have won the election. I would say that nothing good came of the incident but without Carter we probably would never have had Reagan.

This is a window into sKerry's brain.
He speaks french. He knows America is PO's at the french. (Lower case is not a typo)
SO - In his appeasment fueled brain he ignorantly Americanized the phonetic sound 'Lambeau" with a french spelling. (IE: Benoit = Ben-Wah)
If he ever read the name he would not have made such a stupid mistake.
Jeez, I feel dirty, I think I just touched sKerry brain! EEK!

Kerry watched Manny Ortiz play many a game right here at Lambert Field. Thoe memories are seared - seared! into his brain.

Actually, what happened is that
Lambert is the name of a Viet Nam Vet
who actually supported Kerry
(can't remember if he served on a
Swift Boat or not).
The "Lambert field" remark was while the
mushroom cloud from the Swifties was
still expanding, so naturally
Kerry had the name Lambert on his mind.

One of Kerry's stooges should tell him to avoid anything whatsoever having to do with sports. He throws like a girl, he routinely botches the names of players and locations, and he can't properly figure out the latest baseball standings based on the night's scores. It's pretty hilarious really.

All Bush needs now is an endorsement from either a prominent packer (is Favre repub or dem?) or former packer (Reggie white?)
