Even though ABC acknowledged the possibility of forgery, they still had to put in the above dig. They also reminded the viewers that George Bush still had to answer to National Guard issues....
The rest of the Nightly News was pretty much a slam on Bush regarding Iraq, Hurrican Ivan, Medical Care, etc......

The former secretary is 86 years old. She was the typist. How much did she actually know about what her boss thought about one airman and why did it differ from what he consistently wrote in evaluations, told his family and told his close associates?
If the documents are widely shown to be forgeries, why would anyone even think about crediting the contents?
Sounds like free-floating malice, to me.
