You are correct and hopefull everyone will calm down and think about this.

The current laws require LITERALLY the Border patrol agents go out and pick up every single individual illegal.

Yes, that would be very nice but humanly impossible.

We need to focus on real issues.
like:

Building a real fence that is not stuck in libo by envirowacko laws. (seriously a border fence should be exempt from environmental impact laws, screw the snails)

Supporting our border patrol agents who are FREQUENTLY SHOT AT BY MEXICAN POLICE AND MILITARY.

Finding effective means of dealing with those who come legally and overstay illegally. (vast majority illegals enter the USA LEGALLY.)

We all want the same thing. No illegal entry in the USA. We have to deal with reality in order to make this work better in the future.

I'm sorry, if we all wanted the same thing, there would be lots more prosecutions of the large corporations that hire illegals.

Some of us want secure borders. Others want to drive down wages with an influx of illegal immigrants.

You also have a lot of pressure from rights groups, immigration lawyers, humanitarian groups that work constantly to make it difficult to deport illegal immigrants and make the border patrol's job harder to do.

Reality Check:
Our Commander in Chief, Congress, Governors, and Mayors have ignored illegal immigration for votes and business.

When we have a terrorist attack from someone coming across the border, the blood will be on their hands. It will take an attack before they will get serious about this issue. It's sad but reality. Republicans have failed us on this issue. We must act to get the Republicans back on track.

I agree with everything you said. But we also need to make it easier to immigrate to the US. A big part of the reason we have 3 million people illegally crossing the border every year, is because there is something like a 10 year wait for citizenship.

I'd much rather make it easier for foreigners to become US citizens, than have them illegall crossing the borders. If they become citizens, they are documented, and we can keep track of what is actually happening.

It's kind of like the gun control argument. If you make it too difficult to get a firearm license, only outlaws will have firearms. If you make it too difficult for people to immigrate, all you get is a bunch of illegal immigrants.

Agreed, with a couple of exceptions.

We don't need to calm down and think. We are right on this issue.....and the Invaders are wrong. So far, they have been successful in making people feel sorry for them. Who's feeling sorry for us? We need to get pissed off and start flipping cars over. They won't listen to calm and thought out conversation.

We've tried that. They said it isn't realistic.

Fence will never get past the California Coastal Commission. Work with them weekly...the most anal group of individuals, ever.

More concerned about killing off the furry jackalope with a fence than the 3 tons of trash on the other side of the trail left by Invaders.

I'm at a loss for words. Believe it or not. What other means do we have of making them listen? Seems like we're down to the put-up or shut-up part of the issue.

Yeah, we're all mad....wanna kick some ass. But are we mad enough to make them realise it? We dared Asa to blink. He blinked. Now what?

(said in the spirit of Barnes. After Elias got killed...)
