Lt Col Killian's secretary says she didn't type the docs. From the Dallas Morning News (registration required):
"The former secretary for the Texas Air National Guard colonel who supposedly authored memos critical of President Bush’s Guard service said Tuesday that the documents are fake, but that they reflect real documents that once existed.
Marian Carr Knox, who worked from 1956 to 1979 at Ellington Air Force Base in Houston, said she prided herself on meticulous typing, and the memos first disclosed by CBS News last week were not her work.
“These are not real,” she told The Dallas Morning News after examining copies of the disputed memos for the first time. 'They’re not what I typed, and I would have typed them for him.'"
If you boil it all down to its essence.
Ladies and Gentlement of the Jury, this "nice old lady" is telling use these forgeries are indeed a lie BUT they are a believable lie.
They are going to spin themselves into a 400EV Bush victory, and be wondering what they did wrong. Duh. KERRY CANNOT WIN ON VIETNAM, whether it's "his" Vietnam or "Bush's Vietnam," whether it's Swiftboats or the TANG.
I'm utterly stunned that these people don't get it.
Who wants to bet this "secretary" was SUPOSSED to come out and say "I typed those memos" but now she is either unwilling or the DNC has determined she can't?
Who wants to bet she was just as much a part of Operation Fortunate Son as the forged Memos?
She is just another phase of the ongoing DNC big lie campaign about the NG.
Because she is a "nice old lady" the DNC want you and the general public to find this all NOW a believable lie.
