Killian on Lt. George W. Bush
Bush Served Honorably ^ | November 3, 1970 | Lt. Col. Jerry B. Killian

Posted on 09/14/2004 12:56:23 PM PDT by Conservative Coulter Fan

FROM: 111TH Fighter Squadron

SUBJECT: Promotion of Officer

TO: 147th Fighter Group (GPCR)

3. Lt. Bush is a dynamic outstanding young officer. He clearly stands out as a top notch fighter interceptor pilot. Lt. Bush is possessed of sound judgment, yet is a tenacious competitor and an aggressive pilot. He is mature beyond his age and experience level as evidenced by his recent participation in the unit firing deployment. During this deployment, Lt. Bush delivered both primary and secondary weapons from the F-102. The tactics and procedures conformed to a test project and were, therefore, more difficult to perform. Lt. Bush performed in an outstanding manner, bringing credit to himself and the unit. He also participated in a practice element deployment and practiced simulated weapons delivery on varying geometries and tactics solutions. Lt. Bush’s skills far exceed his contemporaries. He is a natural leader whom his contemporaries look to for leadership. Lt. Bush is also a good follower with outstanding disciplinary traits and an impeccable military bearing. He reflects vast potential and should be promoted well ahead of his contemporaries.

Signed by Lt. Col. Jerry B. Killian, Texas ANG, Commander

If I come across any other notable documents signed by Killian with regard to Bush’s Service in the Guard, I’ll promptly post it at FR. Of course if the media would do their job – then I wouldn’t have to do it for them.

Excellent link.

Has anyone in the media thought to contact Fred E. Bradley? He is listed along with Pres. Bush for promotion as well as being in the 111th Fighter Intercept Squadron. Date of rank is 7 Nove 70. Page 24 of 33 from the USA Today packet.

LOL, Was Killian a prophet? I have a lot of respect for him, he saw what Bush was way back then.

"I think Bush or someone should get Killian's son to read in an ad what his dad thought of young Mr. Bush.

And clear up his fathers good name. "

Very good idea, and summarize the entire record rather than have CBS/DNC nit pick certain parts out of context.

nothing proportional about that memo. All of the letters line up in vertical columns.

One thing I've noticed about the authentic documents versus the forgeries: After enlarging the authentic documents, one cannot see the information hidden by the black out. Not true of the forgeries (re: the address).

Also, it looks like the paper is smaller, which is what the military used (not 8 1/2 x 11)

This brings up a really interesting point. Try this one at home, kids!

Sign your name, print, or type something, whatever, on a sheet of paper. Take a black magic marker and line through it. Then make a photocopy of that document, or, to be more true to form, go through fifteen generations of copying. Hold the two up to the light. On the original, it's VERY easy to see the original information you marked out. On the final copy, though, it's impossible, because the photocopier only picks up the black mark, not the underlying writing.

This to me is incredibly damning evidence against CBS. They can't produce original documents because there aren't any.

They did up a MS Word document, photocopied it fifteen or twenty times, and THEN blacked out the pertinent information. Otherwise, the info would NOT be visible through the blackout. It's physically impossible.

Yes, this style is called LEFT JUSTIFIED.

However, what I find interesting is that most LAWYERS use the semi-justified style - which puts the signature right of center on the document. Which, IIRC is the location of the PHONEY SIGNATURES.

Oh yeah .. I worked for lawyers for 7 years .. I know.

I've heard this statement before about Bush .. early on in 2000, "a natural leader".

I think that's what finally sold me - although I was leaning heavily toward him to begin with. A real "natural leader" can be spotted very quickly in the military.

A president in the making!

Also it has a date stamp which was used in that time frame because it was not always signed on the day it was typed. I remember signing several times docs that were typed three or four days before and used the date stamp to indicate the date signed.

Going throught the packet, I don't see any documents formatted the same as the bogus CBS documents. Also I don't see any address as Box 34567. Has this been verified as a bogus address?

I am not sure if this is what you are talking about but the signature is on the left as opposed to the right. I recall a guy posting that this was the style when he was in back then.

Yes the letters had left justified signature blocks till sometime in the 80's. Then switched to right justified.
