I *do* want to go there, because MY generation CAME OF AGE when Reagan was elected. It doesnt matter if we were able to vote for him, MY generation was the one observing what the Boomers were doing and what Ronald Reagan himself exemplified, and they were two totally different things and we preferred Ronald Reagan. His administration formed the basis of our exposure to world politics and made us proud to be American. I am old enough to remember the stark difference between the 70s and the 80s...so I dont take kindly to any lip about how MY generation doesnt have a claim to that man.
