Columbia House DVD Club is featuring F-911. I emailed them telling them that if they try to push it on me once more, and/or continue to refer to it as a documentary, that I'll be terminating my relationship with them. I suggest others do the same.

The average creature that wants a copy of F-911 is the ideal candidate for Columbia's DVD club; they are more likely to be apathetic about returning the 'don't send me' cards and more likely to pay for their videos instead. They'll make a mint on it, and anyone who complains, they'll just direct them to the maker of the movie. Odds are that they'll many more customers even if everyone who is a freeper or a family member of a freeper cancels.

What I've done is made it clear to my local stores that should they sell this piece of political bull-fertilizer in their stores, I and my family will find another market/drug store to shop at. That, I think, would be the best method to protest at this point, if for no other reason than to protect the kids from having to see campaign commericals in the stores.
I was shocked that our local Albertsons was intending on not only selling the movie, but also planned on running the video as an ad on the monitors installed in the store. The manager assured me that such a plan would not take place; she said she couldn't prevent it from being sold or being available for rent in their video section, but it would not be sold or displayed outside of that department. Yeah, a small victory, but it was something.

You may have trouble finding a store to shop in, then. Just like all other free-enterprise, store owners stock what sells. If they expect to make money on this execrable film, then they'll stock it.
Don't blame them. Shopkeepers sell to Democrats and Republicans alike. Most people don't care whether a particular item is or is not on sale. If they don't want it, they don't buy it.
Your threatened boycott will have no effect. Just don't buy the DVD, but keep on shopping.

Where are they pimping this piece of excrement?
I'm a member. Lookin on the web page, I don't see it on any lists. Not on upcoming releases. Not on New Releases. Not under Special Interest (where you can find Bowling for Columbine) I can find it if I search for it, but I don't see it featured anywhere. Or are they offering it as an upcoming feature selection? If so, I will cancel my membership and explain in no uncertain terms why. I've bought a good 30-40 movies through them.
