The CBS expert had to have been scared - if he was considered as being on record authenticating an obvious forgery, he'd find it difficult to find any future work as an expert.I'm guessing that his future as a document expert has been seriesly impaired already. Deservedly so, IMO.

He didn't know what he was getting himself into. He thought it was easy money-- tell See BS what they wanted to hear (they're real), get paid and go home. Since he was anonymous when the report first aired, he didn't think it would ever come back to bite his ass.
