McPeak and Turner: Bush Dishonored the National Guard Then, Dishonoring Guard Now
General and Admiral Offer Pre-Buttal to Bushs National Guard Speech
Washington, D.C. - After a week of new revelations regarding George W. Bushs military service in the National Guard and just one day before Bush will address the National Guard Association in Las Vegas, General Tony McPeak and Admiral Stansfield Turner called on the President to answer questions about his time in the National Guard and also to own up to his failed record for the National Guard as President. Statements from McPeak and Turner below:

Admiral Stansfield Turner was the CIA Director for President Carter, who managed to gut and turn the CIA upside down with his "Halloween Massacre" at the CIA:
-"On August 7, 1977 CIA director Stansfield Turner called a meeting of his people and announced that the Agency had not reduced proportionately now that the Vietnam War had ended. He announced deep cuts that would target more senior than junior officers. The pink slips went out on October 31, 1977. Angry rebuttals by the DDO employees, to the CIA Halloween Massacre at Langley were echoed by the media who claimed that Turner was striking at the heart of the service, that he was jeopardizing its covert action capability and cruelly dumping patriotic Americans..
I'm ROTFLMAO at the demoncRATS hypocrisy. Pres. doesn't have any purple hearts. But their guy goes to 'Nam, writes himself up for any and unlimited # of purple hearts even after committing atrocities that he admits to, returns to the States engages in anti-war activity and demeans every military person who serves the country, associates with the enemy, throws away his ribbons/medals and yet he didn't do anything wrong. Oh what hypocrisy!
Bush is handling this just right.
Kerry and Co. have to realize that they were just blown out of the water. Can you imagine the frustration they must be feeling, thinking they had everything in place for the big assault that was going to knock Bush out. Starting with Dan Rather's 60 minutes II report. Unfortunately, their first assault was absolutely decimated and they are left dazed and confused mired in the realization that they are going to lose. The only options left are a suicidal charge just to inflict as much damage as possible, or a quiet resignation to the fact that they got the a$$es handed to them on a platter, and a decision that it is now time to at least act Presidential.
Guess which one it seems that they are choosing?
Yes, Capt. Queeq reporting for duty!!
To me, it seems like the Democrats are trying to dishonor the Guard.
