Kerry & Tenenbaum Together Again?
Kerry travels to Charlotte, Tenenbaum to Rock Hill (Less than 30 miles away )Will they get together Today?
(Columbia) According to news reports, both John Kerry and Inez Tenenbaum (South Carolinas top-of-the-ticket Democratic candidates) will be less than thirty miles away from each other today. Surely, they will find time to campaign together for one of the top United States Senate races in the country.
According to todays Charlotte Observer, Kerrys campaign event is scheduled to take place just over the state border in Charlotte at the Grady Cole Center (310 N. Kings Drive). According to Tenenbaums own campaign schedule, she plans to visit border town Rock Hill this afternoon and eat at the Varsity Restaurant (108 Oakland Avenue). Mapquest.com lists the distance between these two events is less than 30 miles (27.74 miles exactly).
Kerry, named the most liberal senator by National Journal, agrees with Mrs. Tenenbaum on tax hikes. Kerry has proposed $900 billion in federal tax increases and Tenenbaum is on record calling for as much as $2.3 billion in state tax hikes. (Gina Smith, Schools Chief Calls For Tax Increase, The State, April 17, 2003) She said, It might not be the smart thing for me to do politically, but in my heart I know its the right thing to do . (The Greenville News, April 17, 2003)
Mrs. Tenenbaum also said she would very much be comfortable sharing a November ballot with Kerry, whom she called a statesperson who has worked hard in the U.S. Senate on a number of issues. (Gregory L. Giroux, Election Overview: An Uphill Fight For The Senate, CQ Weekly, February 20, 2004) She contributed $1,000 to the John Kerry for President Campaign. (Center for Responsive Politics Website, www.opensecrets.org, Accessed April 27, 2004). And Mrs. Tenenbaum has gone so far as to say that she would be proud to stand beside him. (Charles Babington, Keeping Kerry At a Distance, The Washington Post, May 29, 2004)
Katon Dawson, chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party said, Im sure Mrs. Tenenbaum will take this unique opportunity to stand beside her Partys liberal standard bearer. Maybe they can make a quick campaign swing through our state? I know if George W. Bush were any where near South Carolina Jim DeMint and the entire state Republican team would throw a huge welcoming party. Today, they will be only twenty-seven miles apart
yet so close together on all the issues.
Inez has less chance of being elected Senator then I do, and I'm not running.
Now now, didn't your mama tell you not to taunt people?

The SC GOP should offer a reward for the first pic of Kerry and Inez together..
Anyone who uses the term "statesperson" should be exiled immediately upon pain of death should they attempt to return.
!!!!!!
She's about as likely to win the Senate here as Dan Rather.
