----Yes, that is what it is going to take, and the sooner we realize that, the better. They are more than meeting us halfway and virtually BEGGING for martyrdom, so why do we continue to approach them as if some of them will eventually join us?
The war on terror has got to be waged FOR REAL, FULL-SCALE, wherever they exist, by whatever governments they are terrorizing. Russia will have to do something soon, and it will. Spain may be a lost cause unless the terrorists who forced the issue onto their election after blowing up their railroads have deemed that Spain has not done ENOUGH
to accommodate them, and starts initiating around round of terror. If we even unilaterally decided to wage a full-tilt war on terror, that by itself would impress the undecideds that we are in a WAR. The way its being fought now allows for both too much indecision and , and too much opportunity for the Dem opportunists to throw all kinds of aspersions on HOW and WHY the war in Iraq is being waged. That should NEVER have been allowed to happen in the first place. Certain kinds of death-penalty cases should not be allowed to languish on death-row for 15 years, through appeals and the constant "agonizing re-appraisals" we put our natural human sympathies through. There are individuals who are irreedemable, as much for their conduct as because the way they see the world simply does not allow them to live among the civilized. Justice should be swift for people like Richard Allen Davis, who kidnapped and murdered Polly Klass,O. J. Simpson, who cut the throats of two people (an Islamofascist among us!) one of whom was his wife, and just as swift for any Islamofascist who gleefully watched Americans jumping to their deaths from the Twin Towers. We should let them all martyr themselves as surely as the 19 who hijacked the planes and flew them into buildings full of people. We have just got to get it right: we've got to drop the bombs on THEM.
