Pretty soon they will be claiming they blew it because Osama Bin Laden was living in it and they just wanted to help the world out by blowing him up with the mountain.

Just think... "part of a hydro electric project" !!!

Water flows DOWNHILL. How many rivers large enough
to make it worthwhile to power a major hydroelectric
project are IN a mountain range...say the Himalayas?

cf Hoover Dam for example. . .

I think it is interesting that despite reports of a
4-5 km Mushroom Cloud, the US govt. did not point to
either seismograph records (say) or satellite surveillance
records to REFUTE the idea of nuclear blast; they just
relied on the "it wasn't a nuke, we aren't sure WHAT
it was" statements.

What besides a nuke makes a mushroom cloud of that size?
Speaking of mountains, it sure wasn't Mt. St. Helens . . .

Lotsa possibilities here.
