I read somewhere that he was raised to be president and his life revolved around this. Precisely. And I think it's only now really sinking in that he's never gonna be president. From 2000 until now, he probably lived in some "I'll still have a shot later" state of denial. With Kerry out front now and Hillary coming up next, reality is probably taking hold in his tormented mind, hence this bitter explosion we're witnessing.
