The Air National Guard

The Air National Guard also has total responsibility for air defense of the entire United States. In addition, it serves as a reserve component of the U.S. regular Air Force.

The last time I checked Air National Guard fell under the department of the Air force, back then it was air force and army but either way.

No where on that does Bush claim that he was active duty, although technically he was for two years.

Why are they wasting their time on this? Even DU has to realize if they think this is going anywhere, they truly are desperate.

In addition, it serves as a reserve component of the U.S. regular Air Force.

component:
Definition: [adj] forming or functioning as part of a whole

Thus the Air National Guard is a part of the U.S. Air Force. Case closed.
