Sometimes I really wish the Democrats would join the 21st century so politics wouldn't be so BORING.

Kerry never volunteered for Vietnam.

He was called up to deploy out of the Reserves.

He went into the Navy Reserves.....not knowing he would go.

ALSO...when he asked to be on teh "boats" they were still doing coastal guard. He thought it would look good politically. He puts in his papers.....while the transfer is approved....the boats get switched to River duty.

He did not know he would be on the Rivers. By then...it was too late. Fakes some purple heart stuff...gets out in four months...the rest is pathetic Kerry history

Washington Times ran a letter from COL. WILLIAM CAMPENNI (retired) who served with Bush. very informative reading.
Also, the formal drug testing program was not instituted by the Air Force until the 1980s and is done randomly by lot, not as a special part of a flight physical, when one easily could abstain from drug use because of its date certain. Blood work is done, but to ensure a healthy pilot, not confront a drug user.

Don't even make jokes about Laura. If the Old Media gets desperate enough they might even try to go after her.

"Kerry plans to speak to the group on Thursday,.....

Is Kerry going to apologize for his campaign's contempt for the service of the F102 pilots? Including the memory of the 70 pilots who were killed by it?

The Dems just sink lower and lower. If they do this then I say it is time for the Repubs to start fighting even dirtier and use Kerry's slimy anti war activities against him. Speaker after speaker at today's DC rally said it was traitorous behavior like Kerry's that hurt the morale of US forces in Vietnam and even led POWs to be tortured. That Kerry has ANY support left after this is sickening. This alone should sink him once and for all.

The DNC had the whole Privileged Son campaign planned for these weeks after labor day, including the SeeBS leak, most likely. With the memo-gate blowing the whole thing out of the water, they're stuck with a game plan that's kaput. Must be scrambling for a new play book even as we post.

Also, think of this. If the KC and DNC turned these docs over to SeeBS, they've got to be sweating bullets right now, praying SeeBS doesn't cave and reveal sources. Sounds of screaming, cursing, gnashing of teeth heard at DNC. headquarters.

The document you posted has been pointed out on LGF as another possibly forged. It turned up on at least one 'awol bush' website supposedly from an FOIA request by the 'awol bush' bunch, who are potential suspects in the CBS forgeries.

Note the SUPERSCRIPTING problem!!!

God Bless you and your service. I have wondered many, many times how anyone who served in the Guard felt when Kerry implied somehow Bush did not have a "real" military background.

The message (nuanced, of course) was cowards went to the Guard because they were afraid to go to Viet Nam. "Second class warriors"

I'm sure your outrage is shared by the majority of your fellow Guardsmen. But thank you for expressing it------I needed to hear that.

Blogged...

http://blogspirator.blogspot.com/2004/09/dnc-claim-bush-lied-air-national-guard.html

"George W. Bush's campaign literature claimed that he 'served in the U.S. Air Force.' The only problem? He didn't," slams a new DNC press release set for distribution.

Link contains evidence from the ANG website History page that the ANG *is* part of the Air Force.

Also, the ANG website is http://www.ang.af.mil/

Guess what af.mil means?

>>Bush NG focus is going to backfire and will give Bush a landslide victory in November<<

I hope so, but remember the MSM said the same thing about the Swiftie ads.
However, they did not backfire on Bush they helped him, so Rove at some point needs to do something about this. ANyone agree???
Back in the summer most people were not watching the race and paid little to no attention to all these smear Bush books and tactics. However, this is crunch time and people are now paying attention.

I guess Rove is rich at what he does for a reason, maybe they have internal polling showing the NG attacks are not working.
Lets hope.

1978 Campaign Literature

How despirate can they get? They are truly throwing everything they can think of to see if anything sticks to the wall!

Are we next going to have definative proof that he "wet his bed" when he was a little boy?

There should be a way to ridicule the DNC so they will take a look at what they are becoming.

Actually this is the point at which someone like Lieberman should come in and give the party leadership a heart to heart discussion about the need to have a viable political party after the November elections.

To all embarissed democrats I suggest you either vote for G W Bush or Ralph Nader.

PEOPLE.....UNDERSTAND THIS.

THEY ARE PLAYING WITH WORDS.

They say he was not part of the active-duty Air Force.

THAT DOES NOT MEAN HE WAS NOT PART OF THE AIR FORCE.

And ...he was. And ...he was active duty. several times.

Laura Bush stuff.

I sure they do go there - and I hope Rather is the one who does it.

I'd love to watch the interview, live with W, on the CBS Evening News.
