"George W. Bush's campaign literature claimed that he 'served in the U.S. Air Force.' The only problem? He didn't," slams a new DNC press release set for distribution.

Link contains evidence from the ANG website History page that the ANG *is* part of the Air Force.

Also, the ANG website is http://www.ang.af.mil/

Guess what af.mil means?

My son is in the ANG and leaves for Iraq in December. I cringed when Kerry called them weekenders, or however he demeaned them. They put in long, hard hours at their regular jobs, and still find time to fulfill their duties. Many are as qualified or even moreso than some in the regular military branches because they generally stay in longer. For instance, Tony has been in the ANG for over ten years, so is highly qualified at his job.

And they ARE PART OF THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE!
