I became a conservative during the Vietnam war when I saw what John Kerry and Jane Fonda did to our soldiers. What an absolute disgrace Kerry is and to think he could be our prsident is truly frightening.
When I hear someone say they admire him for his anti-war activities and for telling the "truth" about Vietnam, I just want to punch them. And I'm a woman.
These people at this rally are the ones who deserve our admiration, not that pompous, lying, self-serving ass
that the democrats have nominated.
My generation spawned the so called anti-war movement. They should be ashamed, but they are the same ones running the DNC today.
I write with tears in my eyes as I listen to the speeches

They never got a chance to sit at the table, in front of cameras, and tell THEIR stories--whether those stories align with Kerry or otherwise. And when they tried, as John O'Neil did, Senator Fulbright didn't have time for their testimony as he did for JFnK's.

Thanks for the *PING*, I was on the phone watching Felix Rodriguez speak with an old associate of his.
The "Shadow Warrior" may be older now, but it's clear that his passion hasn't diminished one bit.
Rodriguez, Felix I. and Weisman, John. Shadow Warrior: The CIA Hero of a Hundred Unknown Battles. New York: Simon & Schuster, 1989. 283 pages.
In this autobiography, Rodriguez details his relationship with the CIA and the anti-Castro resistance. After escaping Cuba in 1959 he joined the CIA-backed Brigade 2506. Rodriguez missed the Bay of Pigs, having been with a special squad trained to infiltrate into Cuba. In 1967 the CIA recruited him to head a team to hunt down leftist guerrilla Che Guevara in Bolivia. When Che was captured it was Rodriguez who interrogated him. After his execution he took Che's Rolex watch as a souvenir (he still wears it today). The book includes a photo of Che with Rodriguez the day he was captured. In 1971 Rodriguez helped train Provincial Reconnaissance Units for Operation Phoenix in Vietnam. During the 1980's he trained soldiers in El Salvador, and became involved with the Nicaraguan contras, Don Gregg, and vice- president George Bush.
Here's Felix on his way to interrogate Che Guevara...I don't think lived to see the next day.

Stolen Valor and this group, IIRC, are behind the 28-minute video due to be released this week. It is called Stolen Honor and I pre-ordered it thru CustomFlix.com. I will show it at a dinner party Sept 30 and pass it along to others.
We are underground, as the Old Media has gone to war against us. But we are going to win.
