CSPAN will cover the march live at 2:00 EST
Who's going to start a new thread on this?
I don't think failing a physical is a nail that you would want to hang your hat on. There is plenty to criticize Rather for, but failing a physical should not necessarily be one of them.
I should have been more clear when I stated that it wasn't covered--- I should have stated it didn't get the press coverage in the newspapers, news programs, etc. That even though reporters were there, there was no reporting.
If my recollection is wrong, please point me to LSM news coverage -- because I certainly missed it.

I hope we can get some sources and documentation for this. Added on top of FontGate, it would hammer the last nail in Blather's coffin if he's been lying about his service.
I think the point is . Dan Rather is a Hypocrite
A beautiful poem she's reading..
Made me tear up.
Carol Crowly was wonderful
"I don't think failing a physical is a nail that you would want to hang your hat on. There is plenty to criticize Rather for, but failing a physical should not necessarily be one of them."
The point is not that he failed a physical, the point is what he has done since he failed.
During the Korean War, when men could be drafted out of college, Dan Irvin Rather joined the Army reserves while attending Sam Houston University in Huntsville, Texas, thus avoiding the possibility of being drafted.
On graduating in 1954, well after the Korean War was over and the killing had ended, Rather quit the reserves and enlisted in the Marine Corps. ... He joined the Marines on January 22, 1954, but was discharged less than four months later, on May 11, for being medically unfit. (As a boy, Rather has suffered rheumatic fever.)
Darkwolf, its on the cspan website, have a link in a few, the media were there, they identified themselves at the end, I have to agree although they were there they didnt give it the coverage it deserved. rtsp://video.c-span.org/project/c04/c04050404_antikerry.rm

I was shocked when Caddell said that yesterday...Stolen Honor!
O'Neill said on Booknotes questions that swiftboats doesn't care what party Kerry is from. They'd be better off if he were running as a Republican so they could have had Soros to fund them(elicited a big laugh)
Kerry LIED
Carol Crowley touched me.
God Bless you Carol (Gell Girl) Crowley !
Yes, it was a beautiful poem.
God bless our Vietnam Vets...we thank you and welcome you home.
SITREP from onsite FReeper: "This young lady has much of the crowd in tears! Are they showing this on CSPAN?"
"HOW WILL THE PUBLIC KNOW ABOUT THIS EVENT?"
We ALL have friends, relatives, neighbors...WE are the ones who have to spread the truth.
This is EXACTLY the way moveon.org got started! Just three or four people e-mailing their friends, neighbors, etc.
Indeed.
The people there today are solid Americans. God Bless them!!!
Kerry needs to go down BIG!!!
