My heart goes out to these vets and all they had to suffer when they came home. May this just be the beginning of the healing. I looked at the pictures, and had a strong feeling of great love for them. If I had been there, I would have gone up and down every row, hugging them and saying, "Thank you. God Bless You. Welcome HOME!"
Does anyone know what has happened to the people who threw the spit/s*it, blood, etc. on our returning heroes?

I agree he's a loser. However some diseases do know race. Africans or people descended from them are more susceptible to sickle cell anemia. Aboriginal Americans are more likely to have trouble metabolizing alcohol. There are diseases that are much more prevalent among Jews (a "racial" as well as religious category). Light skinned people are more susceptible to skin cancer. The list goes on. Race is not just about skin color, in fact skin color is a poor determinate most of the time.
