"Journalism majors?"

You want to know what is wrong with Journalists, the same thing that is wrong with Hollywood.

People used to go into journalism after having a real life. They used to bring something with them. The journalists today don't know anything. I have seen pieces written about the economy or economic issues that demonstrated the author doesn't know diddly about money or how money works. They don't even know how to ask good questions.

Hollywood used to be great when the stars came from Vaudeville or from the Stage or spent time in the military. All the early days of Hollywood was made of real people, innovators and people that actually had some depth to them.

Today all it takes is the right look and a junior high school education if that. In 15 years when the face goes most of them are has beens at 30. They have the depth of a mirror and it shows.

Face-time ego-journalists and Hollywood's better-than-you-because-we're-actors are anti-military because they don't like being replaced as adored icons. True and honorable heroes emerge from battle and supplant the shallow celebs. They don't handle that well at all.
