Fox NewsWatch will be analyzing the AP "Bush supporters booed" controversy in this half hour. The teaser called it an "AP mistake".
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
i messed up in the formatting; ignore the 'read more' prompt above. This is on Fox News this half hour, not at the website.
Re the CBS memo forgeries, Gabler said that the media had behaved so badly in the Swiftboat matter they felt they had to pay penance.
The "media critics" on Fox just did a short segment on 'RatherGate' and called it compensation for how they covered the Swift Boat Vetrans story. They libs there were not close the indignation they blustered last week at the Swift Boat Vetrans.
NO they actually thought the coverage gave the SWB Vets too much credibility.
IF Fox news was smart, they would do a prime time special on both FNC and Fox network, on the false reports and smear campaign of this election from the major media and 724s. Advertise heavily for a week and have Brit Hume do the show
Did 60 minutes do a segment on the Swifties? I musta missed it.
What a joke that is. The MSM tried their damndest to avoid covering the Swift Boat guys at ALL,and when they finally did,it was only to try to shoot them down. I swear I wish I could as a private citizen file a suit against them for misuse of the public airwaves or something.
media watch seems to suffer from beltway disease. They are out of touch with common sense. Even whatshername had to stop the host from the ridiculous notion of a mere 3% bush "bounce". Especially when polls record a shift not a bounce.
Don't ask me to parse liberal logic. It's Saturday night.
It was rediculous. Even Cal Thomas bought into the premise. Pathetic
The wacko with the beard is writing a biography of walt disney?!? well that will be a wacky one.
I agree with you. Folks will be making careers out of analyzing this election.
This is not far from my suggestion that they do a special on both the SBVT and AWOL charges (separate thread: An Invitiation to Fox News' Britt Hume to FreeRepublic), but one minor nit picky point.
"724s"?
You mean 527s, don't you?
Hey, it's only fair. I got about 10 posts on my vanity thread pointing out I misspelled "Brit."
The public nailed the press.
Media watch is trying to cover for the AP reporter.
Not naming him, sloopy
Pinkerton got Rathergate right.. The libs cracked me up with the DNC talking points.
Jim Pinkerton mentioned that the blogosphere has created a new acronym - MSM. Whooooopeeeee!
but fox keeps ignoring Freerepublic :-(
FR even has a foxfan ping list!
