The left is trying to follow the old play book in trying to instruct the public on what to think. The scenario goes like this: 1) Release a dubious story, 2) the story is picked up and widely run by collaborative news entities, 3) get a few supportive man on the street interviews from people described as ones who have had their opinions changed by the story, 4) post some push poll numbers indicating a resulting sea change 5) refuse to acknowledge any factual challenges to the story 6) move on to the next dubious story thus stifling correction of the record.
The good thing is that the internet and talk radio is now breaking the monopoly of the main stream media and disrupting the Lib playbook.
