Sounds good. Were you a long time lurker, and just had to register to post that post, or post that article you know wasn't posted and why didn't anyone post that article? There are so many good newbies out there. You were one. I was one, we all were new. The good outweigh the bad 40 to one. The few that are trolls we take care of, and if they have an especially 'interesting' thread, we'll let you all know. Give the genuine newbies a break. We were all new at one time. I'd rather give them the benefit of the doubt if they err on their first or second post or thread, and not zot them immediately. If they are trolls (we'll all know soon enough), let's let them dig their grave. It's so much more fun if the zots have a little history anyway.

Desperately need a glossary here! What's a troll/trolling? ZOT? Lurk/lurking? Vanity?

What's a troll/trolling? A person posting statements designed to bring about confrontation or disruption of a thread.

Zot = getting posting privileges revoked for being a Troll.

Lurking = watching and listening instead of spouting off. (a good thing for newbies!)

Vanity = posting a new thread that has nothing to do with sourcing a news article, but rather your opinion, request, or generally something that has to do with nothing.

Have fun and be carefull if ya want to stick around!
