Simple explanation.

Killian went into the future... about 10 years, got a nice new composer typewriter just to make the Bush memo's look 'nicer'! Then he went back to 1972 and moved them through the system.

He probably got a commendation for the great readability of such everyday communications!

Sorry, I already posted a simpler explanation so Occam says I'm (most likely) right.

Killian had extraordinarily neat penmanship. So neat in fact, Bill Gates later used it as the basis for a Word font. Killian family is due millions in royalties from Microsoft.

Please, try to stay within the bounds of what makes sense. Went into the future indeed!
