Dear Fellow FReepers,
Kudos (you know who you are) on a job well done exposing the CBS document forgeries. Now, however, we need a unified report that tells the whole story. I have two major talk radio producers, and one investigative journalist, ready to use such a report if we complete it.
What I'm requesting is a FReeper Commission organized to investigate and report -- to investigate and consolidate what we have into a single, coherent document.
Please post to this thread if you are "in".
Essentially, here is what we need:
1) Conclusive evidence that the documents are indeed forgeries
2) Definitive evidence that the DNC is the source of these documents, or, at least, that they provided them to the other parties
3) Evidence that the Kerry campaign was involved -- i.e. that the Kerry campaign was aware of, or had seen, these documents before CBS ran the story
Of course, anything that goes further than that would be better. If we can come up with a conclusive report on these issues, we can end the campaign and smash the mainstream media's credibility.
The media will not do a full investigation, nor will the government. So, it's up to us to undertake this task.
Please ping your lists to this thread
ping myself! :>)
Will this be available for us to pass around to other talk shows, newspapers, etc? It would be be nice if we could make it available.
FReeper Investigation/Report BUMP!
Yes! That's the point. A coherent report will be the most useful thing we can do, in the right hands.

If we get this done by tomorrow, we can get it on talk radio Monday.
See Powerline and Captain's Quarters who have listed the various evidence. I posted some of that already:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1213155/posts
What you need is a special area on this forum where you put each of the evidence, and have people add all the individual facts to it. Then when that is finished, you can summarize and forward it on. But the two blogs that I have mentioned have the best lists of evidence.
Don't forget the DNC has likely directly coordinated not just the recent Bush ANG media day, but also the other post-"Cambodia/SwiftVet blackout" media day "Frenzy For Kerry" where the WaPo led the NY Times, Salon.com and the DNC press releases by mere hours in all bashing the SwiftVets.
Info on that should lead to more detailed leads.
We need to make absolutely 100% sure on every point in case which we make. In other words, tougher and stricter standards than MSM. hmmmm.... that part shouldn't be too hard!
Phil Dragoo has provided us with the incredible link below that will show us how the forgery was done.
Go to the link and just sit back and watch the forgery recreated in about one minute.

Mary Mapes, the CBS producer who produced these fakes, also showed the world the prison pictures, and implied that CBS "broke" the abuse story, when the military was already investigating.
SHE is the key.
What is her relationship with Michael Moore, who raised the AWOL question at a Wesley Clark rally?
Who is she, what is her bio, and connections?

Powerline and Hugh Hewitt have some of the best info on the docs and it's already laid out pretty well on Powerline. The American Spectator had the only article I'm familiar with on the DNC link, other than the coordinated attack the dems mounted the next morning, suggesting some colusion. Another facet of this is the folks jumping off the boat like, Amy Barnes, Gary and his mother the Colonel's wife, Gen Hodges, the Doc analyst Hooper (sic) misquoted by the Globe. Also, the Matley "Circling the Wagons" piece should be mentioned because it goes to character and methods aside from the fact that he's just a handwriting guy, not doc analyst and he only gave an opinion of one doc, not all four. Then there are doc analylysts by the score,CNS News, MSNBC (30 yr FBI doc guy), the GLobe, Hugh Hewitt talked to one doc guy who ref'd another...ad infinitum.
Basically, we need one team to write a word document on the forgery, one team to write one on the DNC connection, and another team to write on the Kerry connection.
Then I will make it into one single report. I have people who will use this if we get it done -- I've actually gotten a request (based on this post) from a major paper :)
The people who work on this can get credit on either their freeper names or real names (your choice).
I think a good proposed deadline to finish would be tommow night.
BTTT!!!!!!
BUMP!
I believe there may be a lawsuit here -- certainly, there should be. For that reason, I will not be talking about the font and document issues, and encourage you to hold back also.

There is a lawsuit here -- the novel tort of journalistic malpractice (14 Fordham Intell. Prop. Media & Ent. L.J. 1).

Have you read the Mark Steyn article in the Chicago Sun- Times today? He says that Ruppert Murdoch owns the Times of London, and the font in question, Times New Roman, was designed in the 1930s for that newspaper. Mr. Murdoch did not lease the Times New Roman font to Microsoft until sometime in the 1980's. If this is true---there is no way this memo could have been written in the 1970's; there would not be a type writer anywhere with this font on it. Have someone check this out. This info could be the "smoking gun" if true. Go to Lucianne.com; his article is posted there.
