Phil Dragoo has provided us with an incredible link where we can see how MS Word 2002 was used to create this forgery.

I will be sending this link to some of the advertisers for the POS 60 Minutes. I will ask them a simple question, do they want their companies name assoiciated with liars and documented forgers.

Phil Dragoo has provided us with the incredible link below that will show us how the forgery was done.

Go to the link and just sit back and watch the forgery recreated in about one minute.

Oh man. You REALLY want to stir it up don't you? I mean, barring CBS reporters?

LOL - I LOVE IT!

We have done that.

From IndyMedia website. Posted as a April fools day joke; yet sent out to all of their outlets in every language and carried on other news boards. I've found PDF files from Indymedia listing Independent reporters Used by CBS, IndyMedia AND other news sources.

http://www.indymedia.org/en/2004/03/110687.shtml

Indymedia.org team in merger talks with CBS/Viacom
George Soros, CEO of Indymedia.org ltd has begun merger talks with the CBS/Viacom News Network to help bring together the Vibrant Staff of the Independant News Network with the resources and Global Consumer Reach of the CBS news network. This follows a meeting of the IMC Board of Directors and key Indymedia shareholders where it was decided that Indymedia needed to branch out from its traditional Liberal readership demographic to encompass more mainstream news interests and readerships....

Let's not forget this little gem carried by 60 Minutes. Stored nicely on IndyMedia's server.

This article: Bush Guard Memos Questioned

Robert Strong was a friend and colleague of Col. Killian who ran the Texas Air National Guard administrative office in the Vietnam era. Strong, now a college professor, believes these documents are genuine.

"They are compatible with the way business was done at the time. They are compatible with the man that I remember Jerry Killian being," says Strong. "I don’t see anything in the documents that is discordant with what were the times, what was the situation and what were the people involved."

"He [Killian] was a straight-arrow guy," adds Strong. "He really was. I was very fond of him, liked him personally. Very professional man, a career pilot. He took his responsibilities very, very seriously."

Demos keeps the story alive. Fox News might carry the story if enough people showed up.

Another way is to file a civil lawsuit against CBS and Dan Rather.

We hope and pray that someone high up at CBSNBCABCCNNNYT etc has a concious and sees this for what it truly is:

An attempt to take down a sitting President and/or influence a Presidential campaign in a time of war by forgery and deceit. Nothing less than treason.

Unless the MSM vets one of their own, CBS, to the ruin of their favorite candidate, Kerry, this will degrade into nothing but partisan squabbling.

One way to influence the MSM is to get to their money guys and the best way to do that is via their sponsors. Call and email everyone of them.

1. The information is too spread out over way too many threads here. There should be a single website that has ALL the information presented. An FAQ format like this one:
http://www.freedominion.ca/~grig/attack.htm might work well.

2. Campaigns to bring pressure on CBS should be launched. This would include:

- organized protests at CBS offices
- informing advertisers and investors of the fraud and encouraging them to express their displeasure by pulling out
- newspaper ads and other advertising to steer the public towards the website
- report violations to federal agencies, FCC, FBI etc. and encourage them to enforce the law in this matter.

I would like to see a new series of FOX News Channel ads with sly references to forgery and/or bias, but it's doubtful that FNC will push things in that direction. It would also be great to see O'Reilly or (better still) an FNC exec editorially demand that CBS put up or shut up; since the other networks didn't push the "OutFoxed" video, that's not likely to happen either. The best we can hope for is that FNC and ABC/NBC (the networks that seem most interested in the story), will continue to run with it for a few more news cycles, and that it will have the effect of making Kitty-litter Kelley and the upcoming effluent discharge from the DNC look that much sillier.

Take a cue from the SB vets. Buy a full page ad to one of the major newspapers, such as USA Today and publish the collected data.

Agreed. There also needs to be a 2-3 page text handout that explains the issue succinctly (lots of white space) for the layman who doesn't follow FR / blogs.

Rahter was never very smart, even in the days he sat around in Saigon at the Continental Terrace bar collecting "war news".

He is now just an old fart who needs to retire. I don't think he planned all this, all he did is get caught up in it because he is no longer a news hound, only a "news reader" and can't do a decent job of checking hois "facts".

We are in the prcess of changing minds... it's really a bloodless Civil War. To quote Rush from yesterday:

And now they've gotten Nixonian. Look what they've become. They have become what they hated. They have become what they despised. They have become what they accuse us of being. I think we are on the cusp of a monumental moment for not just the left, but the media as well. As I have said over and over again, we are in a historical time.

The truth is out there for the left - conservative talk radio is available 24/7. Demonize the leadership and be compassionate with those they have mislead.

A plan would be good.

What's the goal?

to get Rather fired?
to force CBS/Viacom to go bankrupt?
to reduce CBS liberal bias?

Actions should support the goals.

>>>Another way is to file a civil lawsuit against CBS and Dan Rather.

How is that done? How much does it cost? What is involved with that? What course of action should be taken in filing? Group? Class? Individual? What resourses are needed? Is there a behind the scenes investigation this would hinder?
