ARTICLE SINPPET: "In the hot sun of yesterday’s languid afternoon here in downtown Nashville, an Iraqi citizen staged a dramatic re-enactment of one of the recent photos of torture from inside the Abu Ghriab prison in Iraq.

Ahmed Al’ Uquaily, a Nashville resident and Iraqi citizen, stood with wires hung around his hands and a black hood over his face. Placards on the sidewalk at his feet showed an enlarged image of the original photograph and a short statement.

His statement read in part: "I am an Iraqi citizen living here in Nashville. I want the US to leave my country. I want all soldiers to go home safely to their family.""

"Iraqis Dismiss Bush's Abu Ghraib plan"
"author: repost al jazerra"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Ahmad al-Uqaili, deputy chief of the Human Rights Organization of Iraq, dismissed Bush's promise as a "Republican ploy to win the election in the United States". The problem is not changing the location or the name of the prison, he said, but to end the abuses committed in the prison by both Saddam's regime and US guards."
