I've read that cocaine residue is often found on paper money. I wonder if anthraz (or other) residue could be found on currency, as well.

Why not?

I'm not a scientist, but it only seems common sense that if traces of cocaine and other substances can be found on paper money, so can dangerous substances.

However, as each piece of money is utilized and transferred from hand to hand, the substance on the money would probably wear down with each transference.
