The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

Muslim group takes responsibility for 9-11: 'We are so sorry'

This September 11 marks the third unforgettable anniversary of the worst mass murder in American history.

After September 11, many in the Muslim world chose denial and hallucination rather than face up to the sad fact that Muslims perpetrated the 9-11 terrorist acts and that we have an enormous problem with extremism and support for terrorism. Many Muslims, including religious leaders, and "intellectuals" blamed 9-11 on a Jewish conspiracy and went as far as fabricating a tale that 4000 Jews did not show up for work in the World Trade Center on 9-11. Yet others blamed 9-11 on an American right wing conspiracy or the U.S. Government which allegedly wanted an excuse to invade Iraq and "steal" Iraqi oil.

Yes actually. I am. Just got into a heated discussion with a co-worker. He supports everything kerry does. I went over his voting record and the guy's for federal abortions, etc. He doesn't think a parent should know if their daughter has an abortion. He supports the monetary cuts to the military. UNREAL.

Probably, but who knows. We have become a nation of wimps. Don't get the sheeple upset. The sheeple can't handle the news and what the situation really is. They'll get scared.

My Opinion: They better be scared. There are monsters who what us all dead. Deal with it or die. Those are the options we have. Many are going with the latter.

Just the fact that Kerry is backed by those that hate us is enough for me. Why would any sane person who loves their family and country want to see two people in office who have done nothing...Kerry has a 20+ year record of doing nothing for the U.S.

Regarding abortion...the same parent who would hand over their right to know about their daughter having an abortion; would sue a dentist for extracting a tooth without a parental ok....sheer lunacy.

I also concur with your prediction, if Kerry were to get into office. A nuisance indeed!!! If he doesn't understand the gravity of threats to the U.S. he has no business in public office; let alone President and Commander in Chief of our armed services!!

Japan, US hold strategy session on North Korea, Iraq

TOKYO (AFP) Oct 12, 2004




Japan and the United States in a strategy session Tuesday on world hotspots agreed that six-nation talks were the best way to resolve the crisis over North Korea's nuclear ambitions, a diplomat said.

Visiting US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage and Japanese Vice Foreign Minister Yukio Takeuchi concurred that North Korea "must return to the talks without conditions," a Japanese diplomat who attended the five-hour talks said.

"We agreed that the six-way process was the most realistic way to peacefully solve this crisis," the diplomat said.

The six-nation talks -- which include China, Japan, the two Koreas, Russia and the United States -- have stalemated after a year with North Korea vowing to step up its nuclear drive.

US presidential candidate John Kerry has pledged that if he defeats George W. Bush in the November 2 election he will launch direct bilateral talks with North Korea.

The diplomat said the United States and Japan also discussed Iraq and the need to improve public safety and develop the political process of the war-torn nation.

The Japanese delegation told its US counterparts that a tighter Japan-US alliance would improve stability in the Far East, the diplomat said, adding that the two sides also discussed proposals to realign US forces in Japan.
