Well, I’m runnin’ a bit late this mornin’ as I got to visitin’ with James S. onna landline. He’s good folks, too. A Viet Nam Veteran with a sharp wit that’s dry as an old bone, too. Some folks dismiss his posts onna internet. He never got an education to speak of, and like me, he can’t type any. Then awhile back, he fell and busted his wrist all to hell and gone, so now he’s typin’ one handed to boot! The V.A. just determined that he’s not a good candidate to operate on. …after dealin’ with the issue fer over two years… Some things don’t make much sense sometimes, I’m a tellin’ ya.
Just so ya know, The V.A. is a real good example of what national health care in this country would be like…
Anyway, there’s some political stuff goin’ on that I’ve been payin’ a bit of attention to here of late. I took a bit of a vacation from other things this last week and got caught up some on that stuff. Seems ol’ Dan Rather and CBS’s 60 minutes programs stepped in it and don’t wanta admit they screwed up. Some thirty-year-old documents turned up about The President‘s National Guard service, and there ain’t nuthin’ about ‘em that’s legit. Even if you accept the font as bein’ acceptable. The one feller referred to was out of the National Guard fer near two years when the memo was supposedly written. If yer no longer inna chain of command, what ya gotta say about things ain’t gonna matter much. Any way ya lookit them documents, they just don’t add up. The feller they say typed ‘em wasn’t a typist. Anyone with any sense knows that it’s easier to keep a handwritten notebook than it is to use an old typewriter back inna early seventies. Even if it was electric. Not to mention that the feller didn’t keep notes or memos to hisself…hand written or typed out.
Now somethin’ else come up in my meanderin’s over the net the last few days that ain’t been reported on any that I can see. It has to do with certain connections between Kerry, The Tides Foundation, moveon.org, Texans for Truth, and some folks called The World Wide Worker’s Party. That’s another name fer the Socialist Party. The Communist Party fits in there as well. Funny thing is, a lot of the folks listed on them websites as bein’ donors or endorsers claim that they don’t endorse the W.W.W.P. or the Communist Party. Go figger. I thought puttin’ yer money where yer mouth is still meant somethin’. …Mebbe that’s just me…
There’s money comin’ in from around the globe to those folks, too. Names match up. Some are fronts. Some’re legit in what they’re espousin’ as endorsin’. Meanin’ they mean it when they give them folks money.
Then when ya lookit votin’ records and the Progressive Caucus in Congress and onna Hill in D.C. …well… if a feller can still add one plus one and get two out of it… Tells me some things just don’t add up right.
Myself. James S. can’t type, and he only gots one hand ta type with, but I reckon I’d listen to what he gots to say about things ‘fore I’d listen to CBS, Mr. Kerry, the Democratic National Committee, the folks the Tides Foundation gives money to…or anyone who thinks that they’re better than anyone else over how he talks, speaks, or types…
The Tides Foundation? That was started by some folks that makes catsup… Heinz catsup, I believe…
Oh. I fergot to tell ya. Folks onna W.W.W.P. site is braggin’ how they done infiltrated the unions and are representin’ ‘em in their contract talks.
…Some things just don’t make sense to me… Like why no one’s payin’ any attention to any of this sort of thing…
…but when it comes to a combat Veteran, all folks can do is make fun of the way he types…and not say a thing about gettin’ his wrist rebuilt…
Well, I reckon. It’s time to warm up yer coffee and get yer head wrapped around yer day. It’s a new day, folks! We’ve got another chance to get ‘er all sorted out! We’ve got another opportunity to get ‘er right. Just as well take advantage of it, I figger.

Yeah. I had multiple purposes in posting that here. That's Morning Coffee, though. More a goin' on than ya might think.
Mostly, I want folks to pay attention to the issue about the money in this election and where it's comin' from.
