"This was a very competitive interview that all the morning shows were after and, as we do with all of our interview subjects, we'll review the material beforehand and ask all the appropriate questions," Kapps said in a statement issued Thursday. The question isn't if you ask the appropriate questions, it's if you receive appropriate answers. I doubt you even cared what the answers were since the first part of your sentence gives us the true motivation for the interview.

Kelly's publisher is suing Newsweek magazine because they got an advance copy with a warning not to exerpt anything, but they did exerpt passages and then the reviewer slammed the book.

Imagine. Before the Web and before talk radio, these documents would have been promulgated by MSM, and accepted by most people, as the TRUTH. Those days are gone forever, thank God.

NBC News also was mired in a credibility crisis as a spokeswoman for the network's "Today" show insisted it was going forward with its planned rollout of Kitty Kelley's Bush-bashing book, "The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty" even though Kelley's key witness against Bush has recanted her account that Bush used cocaine and has accused Kelley of fabricating her interview. KK is not listed as a guest at the Today Show's web page as of this moment--link is here (halfway down page in "coming up on today" scroll box):

KK is only listed as a guest on Tuesday at

NBC may have backed off.

Dan Rather fancied himself a king-maker, Arrogance is taking him down. Kerry fancied himself a war hero and even framed his campaign on it. Arrogance is taking him down. The Combined might and Arrogance of the MSM & democrat party has run one of the most disastrous election campaigns ever, convinced they would win because republicans are so stupid. Republicans ran a simple, honest campaign, a few flip flop ads, a slick convention and here a week after the convention the democrats for all their planning, lies have TOTALLY EVISCERATED themselves. It is hard to be humble

the today show is going to look like foolish with three days of Kitty Kelly. Kitty comes off as a crackpot on TV, sort of like a romance novelist with political pretensions.
