Retired Maj. General Hodges, Killian's supervisor at the Grd, tells ABC News that he feels CBS misled him about the documents they uncovered. According to Hodges, CBS told him the documents were "handwritten" and after CBS read him excerpts he said, "well if he wrote them that's what he felt."

If any more evidence appears, the democrats will have to release an official their official "No Evidence" Memo
One more prop knocked out from under danny-boy's already weak and pathetic defense!!!
CBS stands by their story.
It getters better and better.
What's that about Dan Rather?
isn't it amazing? Every time I click on Browse, there's another new thread with a new revelation. The hits really do just keep on coming.
Another nail in the coffin....
The time for CBS to come clean was immediately upon realizing that they had likely been duped by a hoaxer. It would have meant egg on their faces for awhile, but the embarrassment would have eventually blown over and CBS may have even received grudging acknowledgment for at least admitting to and correcting their mistake professionally and quickly.
Instead, CBS has decided to circle the (flaming) wagon. At this point, the hoax can never be just an embarrassment - - the only conclusion now is full-blown scandal. It is simply unfathomable to me that CBS would commit suicide like this. No matter what they do next, it is already too late.
For CBS, the window of opportunity has closed.
Snicker. Hear the sound of Dan's depends in a wad?
I guess we won't be seeing Hodges on 60 Minutes anytime soon.
What's the F'N frequency NOW Kenneth!!!!!
Rather's toast along with his buddy Kerry.
Bye, Dan.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
Oh man that one should be the last straw. EVERY living "witness" now disputes the "memos".
Me thinks Dan Blather is a very short timer at CBS ... even if he isn't his credibility will be in the tank which means the same thing.
It just doesn't stop unraveling does it? I'm as amazed as you that someone new jumps off the CBS bandwagon every day.
Just wait until a young producer with CBS lets that last vestige of a conscience creep up on them and confesses how little verification was done and that their source was a "partisan political figure."
Where is a 527 of ours? We need one to hit hard and blame the democrats for this, make some political capital.
Is that Carville and (insert name here) in the pic!!!!
Another shocking revelation!!! I can't believe how this has fallen apart!!! Next, Barnes will recant? I bet there is a ton of dirt on him somewhere, please someone find it. I didn't know this either, Fox interviewed an officer who served with Bush. Apparently, nobody needed special favors to get into the Pilot program with the Guard in Texas. If you had the brains, physical conditioning, etc., they let you in. The waiting list was for non-coms. Then, Killian's son says Bush came to his father twice to volunteer for Palace Alert which would have sent him to Vietnam. So, if I were the WH, let all the Rats go at it, they coming apart at the seams. I guess if I were Bush or Cheney I might say something like:
"Look how they(DNC/MSM) have messed this Guard issue up! And you trust these people to run a war???!!
Actually, they told him they WERE handwritten. A deliberate lie.
(munch munch munch) Want some popcorn?
