When I was in high school, (1972) I was in business classes, and we had to learn how to do carbon copies (horrible for corrections) and work a gastetnor (I can't even remember how to spell it.) It was a legal size piece of paper, that had a green sheet, that you typed on, that produced print holes in it. Then you put it on a machine and turned the handle round and round and could make as many copies as you want, until the ink ran out. It was horrible for typist, as if you made a mistake, the whole thing had to be thrown out. We did not have copy machines to use. I feel like John Boy with his newspaper printer!

They did, but why would Killian have photocopied what CBS calls his "personal files"? It makes no sense.
