If the documents in question, are conclusively proven to be a fraud, there are SEVERAL criminal laws that come into play...
18 U.S.C. 372 - Conspiracy to impede or injure officer - Fines and up to 6 years in prison
18 U.S.C. 494 - Contractors' bonds, bids, and public records
18 U.S.C. 1001. - Statements or entries generally (Fraud)
CBS 60 Minutes Hit Piece on Bush
The most important thing you can do is to contact CBS and voice your disgust about Dan Rather. Second, about CBS's anti-Bush taint, and third, send media links to the controversy to the advertisers and lodge a complaint with the advertisers that they must repudiate the 60 Minutes hit piece.
Complain to CBS advertisers. Most of these are advertisers that were involved with the 60 Minutes slam on Bush, but hey, complain to them and ask for them to pull their advertising from the Bush Hating CBS...
Standard PR response is that they don't know where / when their ads will run. JUST LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU DON'T ACCEPT THAT THEY CAN'T MAKE A REQUEST, OR THAT THEY CAN'T ABSOLUTELY INSIST THAT THEIR ADS NOT BE SHOWN IN POLITICAL HIT PIECES. THEY'RE THE CUSTOMER AND THEY'RE ENTITLED NOT TO HAVE THEIR REPUTATION SMEARED!

To whom it may concern:
Dan Rather, on CBS 60 Minutes, presented fake documents to the American people in an attempt to discredit President Bush. The documents have been proven to be fakes, and Dan Rather continues to stand by his lies.
Dan Rather also attended, and was a Keynote Speaker, at a Democrat Fundraiser in Texas proving his bias against the Republican Party. Dan Rather has acknowledged his bias (and apologized) in a recent interview with Geraldo Rivera.
Dan Rather of CBS is blatantly biased and incapable of presenting, and representing, the news to the American public. Biased reporting of the news is unacceptable and deserves an appropriate response.
I am deleting all CBS affiliated channels from all of the televisions in my household (including and especially my childrens televisions) and advising all of my friends to do the same. Your advertisements will not show in my household or the households of my friends.
I will also use my best efforts to NOT purchase any of your products until you pull your advertisements from CBS.
I will put the CBS channels back on my televisions when Dan Rather apologizes for using his position with CBS for his partisan political antics and resigns.
As you can tell, I have had it with the biased media.
Sincerely,<P.
CBS WILL DENY THE WHOLE THING UNTIL THE BITTER END!!
If they even HINT that these might be forged, then it becomes a potential CRIMINAL MATTER AND CBS / RATHER WILL BE LEGALLY REQUIRED TO NAME THE SOURCE...
IF IT TURNS OUT TO BE THE DNC, THE DEMONRAT PARTY IS OVER!! THIS WILL BE THE DEMONRAT'S WATERGATE!!
See if Larry Klayman will file a class action lawsuit for us :)
How about FCC violations?
Just sent an email
CBS is not claiming they are military docs - they claim they are personal documents kept by a man who did not type in his personal files which his widow and son say he did not keep.
Excellent post! That was right on the mark. Today at my job, an email was sent around alerting employees to a class being offered to teach Microsoft "Tips". I couldn't resist and emailed a few of my colleagues wondering if the class was going to include showing us how to forge documents (for all the liberals in the office, of course).
Keep it up!
Some suggestions modestly offered...

OL' DANNY BOY'S TORCHIN' CBS, HAHAHAHA...
Wouldn't this be tampering with a Federal Election? I tried to find something about it, but couldn't find anything with a Google search.
DONE. Thanks for posting those addresses!!!
That's why they the TANG letterhead info was typed at the top of the "personal memo".
Very Possibly. But let's look at the results. I see a point or two bump for W from this. I even see a swing state or 2 swing this way as well. Let them keep tampering!
The biggest reason why CFR should be repealed was brought to you by Baghdad Dan (Rather) and CBS News.
