Please feel free to add to it and I will update the source picture with the appropriate changes.
Not like I'm in charge or anything but lets call this one Rathergate.
Thank you for your kind attention to this matter.
I wonder if, when the WH handed the docs to the press, there were a bunch of people in a backroom giggling?
According to Rush, CBS had doubts about the document before they aired but decided to go ahead anyway.
Could you please change the title of this thread? Change "Docugate" to "Rathergate". Thanks,
Has anyone figured out yet how they could possibly mistake printouts done by laser printer or whatever from an actual typewritten letter? I mean shouldn't there by indentations on the paper from a typewritten memo?
What you need now, is to fill in all the details between those last three ticks. That's where all the interesting stuff happened, e.g.: Shortly after/before midnight 9/8-9/9, the infamous "Post 47"; 8:30 am, posted on Little Green Footballs; posted on Powerline; first appearance on Drudge; First Talk radio; First MSM outlet; etc etc.
Be sure to take a look at the SBVFT BBS, and see
if they were ahead or behind the curve. They've
moved all the ANG threads to their forum named:
Geedunk & Scuttlebutt
http://www2.swiftvets.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=4
The main thread was (and still is):
TANG Memo on Bush
http://www2.swiftvets.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8487
There may also be other links in their threads.
Regarding the DNC falling for the documents, all I have to say is, "you have to stand for something, or else you are going to fall for anything". HAHAHA!
Actuallty the parts most interesting to be filled in concern --who handed the documents to the DNC, who handled them at the DNC, who handled them at the Kerry offices, who gave them CBS (DNC, Kerry, etc.) and then how CBS actually vetted them (yeah right).
How about NEWSGATE! Don't you think they deserve it?
