Let's send a hard-hitting message to the mainstream media. Sell your Viacom stock right now. Check your mutual funds and exchange traded funds and unload anything that has any holdings in Viacom, Inc.
For those of you who don't know, Viacom is the parent company of CBS, a corrupt news corporation that recently presented fraudulent documents discrediting our sitting president in this time of war.
It's time to let them know that we will no longer tolerate this type of anti-american propaganda.
It will also send a clear signal to ABC, NBC, CNN and the others.
Send this message to every trader you know.
The stockowners' responsibility is limited to the stock they own, and is not involved with management of the company except for stockholders' meetings where votes are taken on various issues including appointment of board directors and which auditors to hire and whether to issue more stock. To have a voice in the stockholders' meetings requires ownership of voting stock.
Selling your stock would be counterproductive in that it would remove any limited voice you might have in running the company.
"Advertise with CBS. Those who are still watching CBS will believe anything you tell them!"
Given recent issues with Viacom and the FCC is it plausible that someone had an axe to grind beyond the obvious personal political agendas?
