When CBS aired the allegations, they said it was all "thoroughly investigated" and that their "experts" had assured them of the docs authenticity.
CBS spokeswoman has also said that the "experts" were actually "witnesses" (whatever that means, the salient point being that they did not, in fact, have the "experts" they initially claimed to have).
CBS has also contradicted their original claim of "thoroughly investigating" by saying they had "suspicions" about the docs before airing. People who "thoroughly investigate" have presumably laid those suspicions to rest, so it looks like they didn't "thoroughly investigate" a damn thing.
CBS said they "stand by the story," and now they've changed that to "looking into any possible error." Huh?
CBS executives are huddling into the night to deal with this crisis. People who have "thoroughly investigated," called in "experts," and "are standing by their story," do not do that. Only liars who have gotten found out do that.
Where can that be supported? If so, this grows exponentially.
