Has anyone seen any mention from ANY media of the Paris, France meeting Kerry had with the NVA while still a reserve Navy Officer?
Why NOT?
Would not collaboration with the enemy while still at war be "abit over the top?"
The USA public needs to know about John Kerry's character and loyality to the USA during times of trouble.
Cannot someone with some "clout" bring this Paris meeting(s) to a media that will print it.
I'm sure Dan Rather will get right on that as soon as he recovers from that hard hitting interview he did yesterday with the Kerry fundraiser.
I heard former House Speaker Newt Gingrich tell Sean Hannity about it. He stated that there is confirming evidence that Kerry not only went to Paris to meet with the North Vietnamese, but he went THREE TIMES secretly without the U.S. Government's permission.
Seems there is also some film footage of Kerry actually setting fire to a Vietnam village, if Hannity is able to obtain rights to the film.
Er, Dan? Peter? Larry King? Anybody listening?
I think that most of America knows what It need to know about John Kerry's charecter.
Plus the Media outlets will not run anything that is going to be detrimental to John Kerry under the guise that they don't have enough evidence that this incident occured.
The next time Terry McAweful asks where was George Bush? Somebody should say.."I'll bet he wasn't in Paris having secret meetings with the enemy while they were still killing our troops".
The meetings are probably the cause of some severe disciplinary action that is documented in the records that Kerry won't release.
I thought about that too.
I wonder what kind of discharge he got? RE4?
There is definitely something in his records he is desparate to hide. Could be a reprimand...or maybe something more sever.
It is a nice "October surprise" to keep on hand in case things get tight again heading down the stretch.
I've read of speculation in the past month Kerry may have been court-martialed.
If he is a 'hero', etc, etc....why hide a stellar record?
I think it would be a perfect line for Cheney. I could hear him saying it in his dry matter-of-fact way that would cut right through all this National Guard BS and nail the left to the wall.
You know....................
Maybe Kerry was in Cambodia??
hmmmmmmm
I think he is afraid that most of his evals from his commanding officers might come out labeling him as a disobediant officer and proabably a couple of repremainds. I know that the Adm. that commanded the swift boats stated that there were issues with him fudging up a couple of missions. And it may also contain info on "atorocities" that he may not want the american public to know.
It is clear that from even a liberal legal standpoint he could (should) have been arrested and thrown in Leavenworth. But his protectors (read Kennedy) and the political environment of the time prevented it.
Negotiating or collaborating with a foreign (much less enemy) political delegation on behalf of America with no political authority is a crime, even more so during war. Since Kerry was in close contact with several Senators whom he could have harmed, or possibly overheard sensitive information, his crime is worse than it would be otherwise.
[sidenote] I was always amazed with Clinton and now with Kerry that they are not qualified to get a basic Top Secret clearance because of their past, but they can be President. jeez, met with communist, accused of rape, purger, disbarred, draftdodger, commited war crimes, ...unbelievable! where do these people come from? How do they get away with it?
Man, you wouldn't believe all the crap I had to go through for a full year to get cleared and I am not even close, not even in the same ballpark, to being as dirty as these two guys.
You think they might have cut something off?
Thanks, dropped an "e" severe
The truly great typos not only make sense - they're funny as well. Yours falls into this latter category. LOL!
